And History

The Club is situated in Angamaly – the Airport City of Cochin with More than 600 Members, we are among the most exclusive Clubs in Cochin. Despite this aura of exclusivity, the membership is humbled with a strong sense of family and a proud desire to consistently engender a warm and welcoming atmosphere to all who pass through our gates. We represent 30 years of hospitality and camaraderie.

Club Opening Hours :

The club premises shall be opened for such hours as fixed by the committee from time to time and notified by the Secretary. Normally the club will open from 11.00 hours till 14.30 hours and from 17.30 hours till 22.00 hours. However no order for food will be accepted after 21.00 hours.

Admission of members & Eligibility

Presidency Club is a family club and hence membership shall ordinarily be limited to married people (spouse alive) with good character and social acceptability. In exceptional cases, membership may be extended to single persons.

Power of Admission

The power of approving membership applications and enrolling member to the club shall be vested with the Mg. Committee, after considering the recommendation of Membership development Committee wherever necessary.
The membership fee for all categories of membership will be decided by the Mg. Committee from time to time.

Founder Members

Founder members are persons who have joined the club by subscribing the founder membership fee prevailing at the time of joining. Founder membership is limited to a maximum of 400 persons Founder members are eligible for contesting/getting nominated for any position in the club subject to conditions as per clause 11 and 14 of constitution and clause 17 and 18 of Byelaws.

Spouse will be treated at par with the member with voting power in the general body and will be eligible for contesting for any position in the Club.

Life Members

Life members are persons who have joined the club by subscribing the life membership fee prevailing at the time of joining. Life members are eligible for contesting/getting nominated for any position in the club expect the five executive position in the Mg. Committee subject to the conditions as per clause 11 and 14 of constitutions and clause 17 and 18 of Byelaws. Life members

spouse will be treated at par with life member with voting power in the general body and are eligible for contesting for any positions in the Club except the five executive positions in the Mg.Committee.

Honorary members

Honorary membership may be conferred on eminent persons so recognized by the Managing Committee for a specified period of time without collecting any admission fee

Honorary members have neither voting power nor they can hold any position in the Mg. Committee.

Institutional memebrs

A company, firm or a business establishment who have joined the club by subscribing the institution membership fee prevailing at the time of joining.

An institutional member with the approval of the Mg. Committee shall be entitled to nominate two of its senior executives/partners/proprietors/directors to enjoy all the rights/privilages of the club at par with the life member.

Ordinary Members

Ordinary members are those admitted to the club by Subscribing the ordinary memebrship fees prevailing at the time of joining. Ordinary membership is given to a specific period of 1 year extendable at the discretion of the Managing Committee.

Ordinary membership will be given primarily to non-resident professionals / Executives/Officers/ NRI etc. Ordinary members have neither voting power in the general body nor they can hold any position in the Mg. Committee.

Visitor Membors

Visitor members are admitted to the club by subscribing to the visitor membership fee prevailing at the time of joining. Visitor membership is given primary to professional/Executives/Officers on deputation, NRI etc. for period of 3 months, extension for an additional term at the discretion of Mg. Committee.

Visitor members have neither voting power in the general body nor they can hold any positions in the Mg. Committee.
